About Bharat Godhani
I’ve spent the last thirteen years building Bigscal into a software company with more than 200 developers. We’ve delivered over 1,000 projects in 25 countries. The part of that experience I use most at Botphonic is figuring out how a business works before asking it to automate anything.
After enough projects, you learn that “we need an AI agent to answer our calls” is not a complete requirement. Which calls should it handle? What does the caller usually need? Where is that information stored? What should the agent do when it cannot help? Until those questions are answered, there is nothing useful to build.
I founded Botphonic in 2025 to turn those call requirements into working software. I designed its end-to-end architecture and led the integration of Twilio and Intalk with AI models and customer workflows. Today, I lead the product direction while our CTO, Tosif Saiyad, leads the platform’s ongoing engineering.
On this blog, I write about selecting calls for automation, translating call flows into requirements, connecting voice agents with existing systems, and deciding where a person should take over.
